Article 1 – Definitions

Cooling-off Period: The time frame in which the consumer can exercise their right to withdraw.

Consumer: A natural person who is not acting for purposes related to their trade, business, or profession.

Day: Calendar day.

Durable Medium: Any tool that allows the consumer or business to store information for future use.

Right of Withdrawal: The right of the consumer to cancel a distance contract within the cooling-off period.

Entrepreneur: Mae & Eden, the company offering goods remotely.

Distance Contract: A contract concluded without simultaneous physical presence, using remote communication.

Article 3 – Applicability
These General Terms apply to all offers, orders, and distance contracts between Mae & Eden and the consumer. They will be made available prior to purchase and can be downloaded or stored digitally.
Article 4 – The Offer
All offers are non-binding and subject to availability. Prices are listed in USD including applicable taxes. Errors in pricing or description do not bind the company.
The consumer will be clearly informed of:

Total price including taxes and any shipping fees.

Product features, delivery method, and return policy.

Payment method and right of withdrawal.
Images represent actual products but color variations may occur.
Article 5 – Agreement Formation
The agreement is concluded when the consumer accepts the offer and payment is confirmed. Mae & Eden will confirm the order via email.
For online payments, data protection and encryption measures are in place.
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal
Consumers may cancel a purchase within 14 days of delivery. Products must be unused, in original condition and packaging. To cancel, email us at info@maeandeden.com within the period and return the item within 14 more days. Proof of return must be provided.
Article 7 – Return Costs & Refunds
The consumer is responsible for return shipping. Refunds are processed within 14 days after the returned item is received or proof of return is provided.
Article 8 – Exclusion of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

Unsealed hygienic products (e.g., used towels or bedding)

Customized or personalized items

Items not suitable for return for health protection reasons
This will be stated clearly on the product page.
Article 9 – Pricing
Prices are valid during the promotional period and include applicable taxes. Mae & Eden reserves the right to update pricing due to tax changes or errors.
Article 10 – Warranty and Conformity
Mae & Eden guarantees that its products match descriptions and are free from defects. If a product is defective or incorrectly delivered, notify us within 14 days.
This limited warranty does not affect your legal rights under the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act.
Warranty is void if:

Product is misused or improperly cared for

Instructions were not followed

Damage was caused by third parties
Article 11 – Delivery
Orders are shipped to the address provided by the customer. Standard delivery is within 2–10 business days. If delays occur, we will inform the consumer promptly. If we cannot deliver, we will offer a refund or replacement.
Mae & Eden retains the risk of loss until the product is delivered.
Article 12 – Auto-Renewal / Subscriptions
Mae & Eden does not auto-renew subscriptions or enroll customers into recurring payment models without express consent, in accordance with the Restore Online Shoppers' Confidence Act (ROSCA).
Article 13 – Payment
Payments are processed securely via our platform and supported third parties. Errors in billing must be reported promptly. Non-payment may result in cancellation or denial of service.
Article 14 – Complaints
Please submit complaints within 7 days of receiving the product via email. We respond within 14 days with resolution or further steps.
Article 15 – Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Consumers may also bring claims in small claims court where applicable.
